BSTI issues Management Systems Certificates (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000) through its Management Systems Certification (MSC) Wing. The process involves application by the applicant, exhaustive documentation review, on-site audits, and final certification.
Process of issuing MSC: After receiving the application, the required documents are examined and verified. Subsequently, a two‑stage audit is conducted at the concerned organization. The audit report is then presented to the Management System Certification Committee, and the certificate is issued based on the committee’s decision

Timeline to get MSC from BSTI: 6 months from the date of application.
